The Spring On Delaney
This was the winner of a 3k contest back in the spring and now I have decided to publish it on Smashwords and Amazon. It's set in a nameless town in the Southern USA at the end of the 19th century and tells the story of how an ordinary family's lives are transformed by the discovery of a spring in the garden.

Lowestoft Chronicle out with my hide and seek story
Issue 5 of the Lowestoft Chronicle is out this week with my story "Coming, Ready Or Not".

Have a read of the other stories too, there are some crackers this quarter. There will be a print anthology at the end of the year, so I'll have my fingers crossed to get into that.

"Base Liberty Point" will appear in Spanish
The Spanish sci-fi magazine Alfa Eridiani will be publishing a 5000-word version of my sci-fi-meets-Roanoake-colonists story, "Base Liberty Point".
I haven't had this piece accepted by an English-language publication yet and want to rejig the ending a bit to keep it as dark as the rest of it.

"Coming Ready Or Not" accepted
My Victorian hide-and-seek story "Coming Ready Or Not" has been accepted by the Lowestoft Chronicle and will be appearing in March, 2011. It will initially be appearing online and is then in with a shout of getting into the print anthology that the Lowestoft Chronicle releases every year.
This is just a 500-word piece. I actually really enjoy the challenge of squeezing in a start, middle and finish into 500 words. If it goes horribly wrong, it only takes 20 minutes to craft another.

Head of Disposals accepted
My very old (May/June 2009!!) story "Head Of Disposals" will be appearing in the 100 Lightnings anthology "in the first half of this year".
